Zoe Kanter is an award-winning singer who is currently a company member for the Stillpointe Theater in Baltimore. Zoe has starred in major roles for several opera and musical theater productions, and her acclaimed performances have earned her the Scene Stealer award from D.C. Metro Arts and the Actor Stealing the Spotlight award from The Bad Oracle. In addition to her theater and opera performances, Zoe has performed in several distinguished roles as a soprano soloist, including Mahler’s Symphony No.4 and Schubert’s Mass in G.

Zoe is an experienced teacher who serves as an ambassador for educating young kids about music, including playing the role of Trinculo in a children’s opera – Ariel’s Tempest – for the Peabody Conservatory Outreach program. Zoe’s depth of experience as a performer makes her particularly well-suited for teaching vocals to aspiring singers.

Zoe earned her Bachelor’s degree from the Peabody in Voice Performance, and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Voice Performance at Towson University. Her most recent roles include Agatha Christie in the U.S. premier of Vanishing Point, Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Suzannah in Hair: The American Tribal Love Rock Musical and Ms. Payne in The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds her Chameleon Skin.
