Here at The Music Space, we aim to curate the best experience for our students to not only learn an instrument, but learn to LOVE music. Part of this is gained from playing in a group or band setting.
WHAT WE OFFER
ROCK BAND
Join a band! Over the course of 3-4 months, students will learn their favorite songs and perform them at local venues or festivals. Though some experience is required, we’ll do our best to pair up students of similar levels and ages. Some experience on an instrument required (unless singing!). Ages 7+
STRINGS CLUB
String club is a weekly ensemble where students develop musicianship and engage with each other in a fun and inclusive small group setting. Make some friends and play beautiful string music together—it’s simple! Ages 10+ unless special permission is given.
JAZZ BAND
Students will be paired together in jazz combos to play and improvise over classic jazz tunes. Each group will consist of a drummer, bassist and the solo instruments may vary—so any instrumentalist or vocalist is welcome to sign up! Some experience on an instrument is required. Ages 12+ unless special permission is given.
