DRUMS
Connor is a passionate performer and educator. Originally hailing from the NYC metro area, Connor has studied drum set with Christian Finger, Forrest Rice, Larry Finn, James Murphy, Henrique De Almeida, and Benzel Cowan.
Coming from a musical family, Connor was first taught piano at five by his father before eventually pursuing the drum set and percussion at age 10. His thirst for knowledge and love for the instrument pushed him to attend Berklee College of Music’s summer programs during high school before receiving a scholarship to attend the University of Maryland Baltimore County for music technology. Having completed his studies, Connor currently performs with multiple acts in and around Baltimore and the greater East Coast. His love for many different genres and styles has allowed him to work with groups ranging from jazz to metal.
In addition to drumming, Connor is an avid recording engineer working independently out of multiple studios on a range of recording projects. He has worked on short films and audio video productions, as well as the mixing and mastering of multiple Baltimore-based artists.
In line with Connors's avid love of learning is his avid love of teaching. Connor believes in meeting the students where they are, tailoring lessons to fit them, working on their weaknesses, and helping them accomplish their goals. Connor is a firm believer in the idea that talent is nothing without hard work, and he strives to keep his students inspired, having fun, and working hard!
