Private Lesson Programs

our approach to working with different age groups

Regardless of age, our goal is to make music a fun, life-long journey. We’re here to help, regardless of where a student is on their path.

Young Learners

Ages 4-6

Music lessons designed for curious beginners ready to explore sound and creativity.

Our young learners, ages 4–6, learn through imaginative play, rhythm games, and simple songs that spark excitement and confidence. Lessons balance structure with fun, helping students develop listening skills, coordination, and focus while building a foundation for future instruments. It’s the perfect way to turn curiosity into a love of music that lasts.

Grade School

Ages 7-12

Building skills, confidence, and a love of music

Our grade-school musicians start reading notes, learning chords, and building solid technique — all while keeping things fun and creative. Each lesson connects real musical skills to songs they love, helping them stay motivated and proud of their progress. Whether they’re preparing to join their school band or perform in a recital, we focus on structure and steady growth while keeping the joy of music front and center. By combining organized learning with play, we help students build a strong foundation that inspires confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of music.

Teens

Ages 13-19

Finding their sound, building confidence, and stepping into the spotlight.

Our teen musicians explore the styles and songs that inspire them—whether that means mastering complex riffs, writing and recording original music, or performing at our monthly Open Mic Nights. Instructors guide students as they set meaningful goals, develop discipline, and gain performance experience in a supportive, judgment-free space.

For those preparing for school band, theater, or college auditions, lessons provide the tools and confidence to shine on stage and stand out. It’s all about finding their sound, building community, and discovering what it means to be an artist.

Adults

Best suited for ages 18+

For adults, lessons are a chance to reconnect with music, creativity, and themselves.

Whether you’re brand-new or returning after years away, our instructors design each session around your goals and pace. You’ll gain practical skills, confidence, and a deeper enjoyment of playing—plus opportunities to share your progress at our Open Mic Nights if you’d like. For many, lessons reignite a creative spark, become a relaxing hobby, or even mark a new chapter in retirement. We make it easy to fit music into your life and rediscover the joy that got you interested in it in the first place.
